Physical Therapy

What is Physical therapy?

Physical therapy (PT) is a healthcare discipline focused on improving movement and function in people with physical limitations or disabilities. It involves assessment, personalized treatment plans, exercises, manual therapy, education, and prevention strategies. PT helps individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, manages pain, and enhances overall well-being.

What to expect

During one of our physiotherapy appointments you can expect your therapist to ask you many questions to learn about you. They will ask you to demonstrate exercises and movements to determine how your body moves and what areas need help. At this point they will discuss and educate you on what they have assessed and create a treatment plan just for you.

Treatment plans can include everything from Hot packs & Tens Machines, Acupuncture, Manipulation and Exercising for strength and conditioning.
